As promised eons ago in a vlog, here are proper photos of my bedroom view. It is pretty damn near impossible to get something this spectacular in Singapore. There are usually other high-rise monstrosities and concrete lumps of bad architecture standing in the way, no matter how high up you live. I am extremely lucky that the forest you see is a reserve, and so nothing shall be erected there to obstruct my precious view.
This is what it looks like early on a misty morning,
with the fog obscuring the resevoir lake beyond the trees:


And here it is on an afternoon after the rain.
Clouds of steam rise from the rainforest - it's amazing.
